Our Grandma's Patchwork collection is not our usual style but was born out of beloved memories of our Grandma. Just a little back story.. I was 12 when I learned to appreciate and value my dear Grandma. From there on my relationship with her grew. As I grew older I spent a lot of time with her and one of the things we did together was get together and sew scraps for blanket tops to send to the poor. She would always show me what blanket she was working on when I would stop by. 

Often she would call and ask if I would be willing to stop by after work to thread her needle because she had failed after several attempts. (Her eyesight was failing her so she had to sew by daylight). She passed away 4 years ago this January and my mind has been filled with memories of her as I was working on the patchwork skirts. I have hadn't much heart in sewing blanket tops since now that I have no one to share them with!

These skirts are made with love from our linen scraps and each piece is unique!
